Looking for some unique tattoo designs?

I want to get a few tattoos that will be unique to me on some way. I want them somewhat subtle, and want them to be symbols, only black, maybe a color or 2, more symbolic than something obvious that everyone sees every day. Something clever, yet with a purpose. I noticed angelina jolie has quite a few of those, i'm looking for stuff with that style I guess, not really to sure how to explain it better. I was looking to get a scorpio on my hand though, but how could i make it look symbolic, no so obvious at first glance. Thank you.
