Accounting homework question?

Geez... It's been a little while since I had my accounting cles.. but from what I remember, when i was doing transactions in my accounting 'workbook' there were extra blank sub ledgers that we needed to 'create' another account with. ( credit-Comp.Equip, debit- cash) or maybe its wanting you to use the 'petty cash' account. what used to help me was looking through the book for the examples that were similar to the question i was doing... good luck.
