How to change the front struts on a 2001 Mercury Villager?

Be sure when you take them apart the spring don't hit you, Now how are you going to put it back together the spring needs to be compressed, We had machines that collapseed the spring so we could build them up , Be careful , Here is what I would do put the bottom in and let the car down to collaps the spring make sure the strut goes all the way through and tie it down good luck hope this helps.
