How can I get a higher chair in my orchestra?

I just had my audition last week and the conductor came up for chair arrangements. Fungus on my show horses tail???

I have a palomino gelding that i show regularly so yes i blue his tail and wash it all the time! I use a thickening shampoo plus MTG when needed. At the last show I noticed he was being really touchy to the tail and today when i gave him a bath i noticed large nasty scabs coming off and taking huge chunks of tail with it!!! I pulled all the scabs and unfortunately the hair with it and then i washed it with iodine shampoo bc the tail was inflamed and infected!!! after i washed it i rubbed it with MTG. Im kind of upset... I had three children, and only ever had a "baby shower" for my first, since my mother and my sister said it would be improper to hold another baby shower and they are only meant for your first. Well, funny because a few family members of mine have had a couple or more kids and held a baby shower for each child. My mom and sister happily attended. So, being upset that i couldn't with my 2nd, even though it was a different than the first.. i thought for third if i could have a "the baby is here" or whatever party. Not so that i could get gifts dont get me wrong. But because a lot of family lives out of town, and NO ONE ever comes to visit my family at our house. So i thought it would be a good get together and everyone could see the baby. Well my mom and sis still found this inappropriate, because people would feel obligated to get gifts. Well, i dont come from a poor family by any means.. so even if they felt obligated, which no one should, i wouldn't feel that terrible anyways. I just wanted good food and family. Its kind of always bugged me to this day. So just curious if you had more than one baby shower or not? Or thoughts on it. I always thought of each child JUST AS important to celebrate as the the other.

jams and jellies verses meat and veggies..., i make my jams like you pour hot jam into a heated jar, hand tighten lids then cool they pop for me, (my mom used parafin wax instead) but meats and veggies, after yo pour your tomatos in your heated jar(so they dont crack) and you put your lids on, just put in a large pot and heat to boil, over med. heat, continue for about10 /15 minutes then shut off heat let them cool in your pot about 15 minutes then remove and let cool, make sure they all pop! may take in excess of and hour or more, any that dont pop you can try and redo or just refrigerate and use within a few days

Is a tattoo supposed to have a milky-like haze over it in the healing stages?

I just got my tattoo on Saturday (really cool). It has gone through the peeling stage, I keep it moist with lubriderm (but no soggy), it has some scabbing in the center, for which I hear is normal. My worry is that the tattoo was a really ebony shiny color, but now under the peeling it seems the faded (gray) kind of and hazy looking. Is that normal?
